• Bulletproof ambulance appeal in memory of Nitai Meisels HY"D. It has been four months since our beloved son Nitai Meisels HY"D, who served in an elite tank unit, fell in battle during a mission to locate hostages in Gaza. Since Nitai was 16 years old, he was active as a volunteer in Magen David Adom (MDA). Based on the experiences of the Simchat Torah massacre, the need for bulletproof ambulances has been recognized as a significant priority. We therefore decided to commemorate Nitai's memory by purchasing a bulletproof ambulance for the MDA, to be stationed in Eli, where Nitai’s older brother, Aviad, lives and volunteers as an MDA ambulance driver. Please help us commemorate Nitai’s spirit and dedication to saving lives by donating to the Eli Ambulance project!

• רכישת אמבולנס ממוגן ירי לזכר ניתאי מייזלס הי"ד. ארבעה חודשים חלפו מאז שבננו האהוב ניתאי, ששירת ביחידת שיריון מובחרת, נפל בקרב במהלך משימה לאיתור בני ערובה בעזה. מאז גיל 16, ניתאי היה פעיל כמתנדב במגן דוד אדום (מד״א). כחלק מלקחי הטבח בשמחת תורה, הוכר הצורך באמבולנסים ממוגני ירי כעדיפות משמעותית. לכן החלטנו להנציח את זכרו של ניתאי על ידי רכישת אמבולנס ממוגן ירי עבור מד"א, שיוצב בישוב עלי, שם מתגורר אחיו הגדול של ניתאי, אביעד, שגם הוא מתנדב כנהג אמבולנס במד"א. אנא עזרו לנו להנציח את רוחו ומסירותו של ניתאי להצלת חיים על ידי תרומה לפרויקט ״אמבולנס עלי!״

• Lecture on Erev Yom Ha'atzmaut (13 May, 18:15) in Hebrew by Mordechai Kind, Paramedic in Gdud 630 "Meeting G-d in the battlefield לפגוש את אלוקים בשדה הקרב". The talk will be followed by Mincha at 19:20, and festive Maariv at 19:30. [Note there is no WiFi in the Shul due to downed telephone pole.]
• Recording of Rav Lau lecture. We apologize that, due to internet connectivity issues, the Chaya Tannor z"l talk by Rav Benny Lau could not be broadcast. The talk was recorded and the audio file will be made available.
• Beit Midrash L'Tanach will have its next lecture (in Hebrew) on Monday, 20 May at 19:00 at Beit Yad Lebanim Rechov Habanim 10. For more information: Rami Shanani.
