SHUL ACTIVITIES, EVENTS AND REMINDERS תזכורות, אירועים ופעילויות של בית הכנסת

• Thank you. Each year, preparations for the Yamim Noraim become more and more complex, and each year thanks to everyone's help, the Shul manages to accommodate over 800 people in 4 minyanim. Thank you to the Minyan Coordinators/Gabbaim, Chazanim, Shlichei tzibbur, Torah readers, Shofar blowers, Seating Committee, the choir, those who coordinated and gave Divrei Torah and Shiurim, and Kiddush coordinators & staff for all minyanim, and setup and cleanup crews and other helpers, for all their time, effort and talent in creating the unique Berman's atmosphere. Our deep appreciation to our indefatigable President and House Committee for solving numerous facility issues. And thanks to all the "back office" people who keep things running during Chagim and year round, including the Treasurer, the Hospitality Committee, Halacha Committee, coordinator of online seat reservations / webmaster, bulletin staff, Membership Committee, Bikkur Holim coordinator and volunteers, and Tzeddaka Committee.
• Lost and Found - Machzorim. Several ArtScroll Machzorim for Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur, some owned by the Shul and some brought to Shul by individual members have disappeared. If anyone accidently took a Machzor that is not theirs, they are asked to please return them promptly
• **Tomorrow** Help wanted decorating the Shul Sukkah. Volunteers needed tomorrow Friday, 29 September (young volunteers welcomed) at 10:00 to decorate the Shul Sukkah.

Shiurim and lectures שיעורים והרצאות:

• **Save the Date** Want to vote in the upcoming municipal elections but don't know what the candidates stand for? Let them tell you in person! Mayoral candidate forum for the English speaking community, with participation of all the candidates. 16 October, 20:00, in the Shul. Candidates will be asked questions in English and Hebrew, and respond in Hebrew. Participation is free. There will be a simultaneous interpreter translating the responses into English through headsets for those wishing to avail themselves of it (for NIS 20/headset to cover part of our costs). See flier here and on the Noticeboard.
• Volunteers needed to give Divrei Torah for Parshiot in Sefer Bereshit. Please contact Mechael Kanovsky.

If you are considering moving to Rehovot and would like to come for a Shabbat, please reach out to the hospitality committee, as well.
