• Matza baking. The Colb family invites the Berman community to bake Matza at the Hatov Vehametiv farm, Friday March 31, 8:00 – 14:00. Pre-registration at colbpat@stc.co.il is advised. Please indicate the number of participants and approximate arrival time.
• Shabbat Hagadol Drasha This Shabbat at 18:35 "Ehad Mi Yod'ea and Chad Gadya"- Rav Aryeh Frimer.
• Bulletin schedule. The Pesach bulletin will be sent out late Thursday night/Friday morning first day Chol Hamoed Pesach (April 7th). Deadline for submissions, Erev Chag Wednesday April 5.
• Spring is here, and with it, a collection of abandoned coats hanging on the hooks across from the rest rooms. They (the coats) would be delighted to be repatriated with their loving families. Please check and see if any are yours.
• Don't forget to sell your Chametz. Important information regarding online Mechirat Chametz sites, the CRC and OU Passover guides, Chametz sale in English via Tzohar, and medicine and cosmetic lists and policies have been gathered by Rabbi Aryeh Frimer (Aryeh.Frimer@biu.ac.il; 054-7540761) and can be seen here and on the Noticeboard. • Biyur of Kedushat Shviit wines. Erev Pesach is the time of biur of shmita wines. Those who own such wine from Otzar Beit Din or other sources must make the wine hefker in front of a beit din of three people not related to the owner, and can then reacquire it. • Looking for families to host converts! Some of them need permanent hosting families and others just need an invitation for the Pesach Seder. If you can help in any way and need more information please call Ilana Friedlander 053- 5706592 or email: ilana102@gmail.com

• Maot Hittim. Pesach is approaching, and for many people the financial strain overshadows the joy of the holiday. Additionally, because of the current financial situation many people have had their incomes drastically reduced. Last year, we were able to reach more than 300 needy families to deliver food vouchers or cash donations. The remaining money was given to local welfare charities for distribution and food parcels. Through your kindness, we were able to provide many hundreds of local families with the basic requirements for the Chag. We would like to be able to repeat this once again, this year. Please help us by submitting your Maot Hittim contributions as soon as possible, and not leaving it until the week before Chag, when it is difficult to organize distribution. Thanking you as always for your kindheartedness. We take this opportunity to wish all our members a chag kasher v’sameach and a healthy year ahead. • מעות חיטים חברים יקרים, פסח קרב ובא, ולרבים ההוצאות הכלכליות של החג מהוות נטל שלא מאפשר להם ליהנות מאוירת החג כמו שהיו רוצים. בנוסף, בשל המשבר הכלכלי , ההכנסות של רבים נפגעו קשות. בשנה שעברה, הצלחנו להגיע ליותר מ-300 משפחות במצוקה לקבל שוברי מזון או תרומות כספיות לחג. בנוסף, תרמנו לארגוני רווחה שחילקו אותו למשפחות נזקקות, וחילקו מארזי מזון לאלו שנזקקו לכך. בעזרת נדיבותכם הרבה, הצלחנו לעזור למאות משפחות ע"י רכישת המצרכים הבסיסיים לחג, ואנו שואפים לחזור על זה השנה. נא עזרו לנו, ותרמו את מעות החיטים בהקדם כדי שנוכל לעזור לכמה שיותר משפחות ולבצע את חלוקת מארזי המזון לפני החג. אנו מודים לכם על נדיבותכם ומבקשים לנצל הזדמנות זאת ולאחל לכל חברי הקהילה חג כשר ושמח ובריאות איתנה! רבקה קרוננגולד, רבקה קראוס, גרי קריגר, וועדת צדקה.
