• Cholent Kiddush. Where's the beef?! It's in the cholent! The quasi-annual Berman cholent cook-off will take place this Shabbat, with the Trumah (pun intended) of 7 almost-celebrity chefs du cholent:
  Neal Doogie Hauser, bringing cholent to the masses
  Mighty Michal Friedman, coming in with TWO entries!
  Davii (Two Eyes) Mandel
  Dan "Tex" Schanler
  Shmoiki On the Barby Berkowitz
  Josh Joshy Weinstein (like a beer stein for wine, not steen)
  Dan "Big Deal, I Do This Every Shabbat" Feigelson
  We will even have a couple of surprise guest judges. (Yes, the offerings will include a vegan option, a gluten free option, and even Chamin for those who identify as Mizrahi). Special thanks to R' Omri Flicker for Kashrut supervision.
• New printed calendar / membership directory for 2023. Printed calendar/directories will be distributed outside shul on the coming two Shabbatot. Members unable to attend should request a friend/relative to collect a copy on their behalf. Thanks to Pinchas Levinson, Chana Faust, Davii Mandel, Jacob Silvermetz, Jonathan Marder, and Peter Gordon for all their work in preparation and production of the listing.
• Berman Purim Seuda. Sign up for the Berman Purim Seuda!!! Date: Tuesday March 7 Time: 15:00. Location: Berman campus. All attendees will be emailed closer to the event with the exact location (location is weather dependent). Price: 60 shekel per adult (over 12yrs), 30 shekel per child (age 1-12yrs).
