will be welcoming Avigayil Chaim as our Guest Speaker.
Avigayil is Head of the Seniors and Survivors Department of
Bituach Leumi in Ashkelon, and will talk to us about Bituach
Leumi for Seniors. The meeting will be at the home of Barbara
and Jeremy Pfeffer, 2/7 Hankin, Rehovot. We will have our
usual Mitzva Cake and a Mini Book Sale, so please bring up to
5 English fiction paperback books which we will sell for NIS 5
each but if unsold you will have to take them home. Men and
women, members and non members welcome. Donation Members NIS
10, Non Members NIS 15. Become a member for NIS 60 a year.

15, 2023 at 19:30, “Sefarad: The Untold Story That Changed the
World” a talk by Isaac Amon. Dr. Amon will talk about the
legacy of the Sefardic diaspora following the expulsion of
Spanish Jewry expulsion in 1492. He is Director of Academic
Research & Program Development at Jewish Heritage
Alliance, and his paternal ancestors lived in 15th century
Spain. All proceeds support ESRA Rehovot project: Moadoniot
(after school programs for children at risk). Cost: ESRA
