a daughter to their children Lital Ozeri and Jake Miller. Mazal
Tov to the baby's big brother Ma'ayan and grandparents Rina and
Tovi Ozeri from Rehovot, and to the entire extended family.

Miriam, a daughter to their children Noa and

regret to announce the passing of Leonore Borsuk z”l, the
mother of our member Judy Kessler, and the grandmother of our
members Sarah Kessler and Naomi Shmuel. The funeral
took place on Friday, July 29, in Louisville, Kentucky. Judy sat
shiva through Thursday morning, August 4, in Rehovot. She can be

Tisha Be'Av programming (Aug 6-7): R' Aryeh Frimer
will provide explanations for some of the Kinnot in Hebrew on
Saturday night, and in English in the morning. In addition, Rav
Mottie Goldreich will give a dvar Tora in Hebrew on
Tisha Be'Av morning after Tefillot אגדות החורבן ממדרש איכה רבה.
- Tisha
Be'Av guide. This year 5782/2022, the ninth of Av
falls on Shabbat (Shabbat Hazon) and, in honor of Shabbat, the
fast and public mourning is put off until Sat. nite/Sunday. This
engenders a variety of changes on Shabbat, Saturday evening -
Motsaei Shabbat, and Sunday Tisha BeAv Nidheh. A Sheet of
Guidelines has been prepared by R. Aryeh Frimer entitled
"Halakhic Guidelines for Tisha beAv Nidheh 5782" meant to help
one navigate through the situation. The Guidelines page is
available here or on the Noticeboard.
In the merit of properly mourning the destruction of the Bet
haMikdash, may we be rewarded to rejoice in its rebuilding! For
