• We are deeply grieved to announce the passing of our founding member Irene Dym z"l, wife of Harry Dym and mother-in-law of our members Susie Dym and Orly Dym. The funeral took place in Rehovot on Monday May 16, 2022. Shiva: Tues-Thurs 9:00-13:30, 16:00-22:00. Fri 9:00-13:30. Sat night 20:30-22:00. 17 Klil Street, Weizmann Institute, Rehovot. • Lecture for Yom Yerushalayim given by Talya Cohen, Senior lecturer at Machon Megalim and tour guide in Jerusalem for over 20 years. She will speak in Hebrew on the subject "סיפור המים בירושלים", The story of water in Jerusalem. הבאת המים לירושלים היתה מאז ומעולם סוגייה מאתגרת. בכל תקופה נמצא לה פתרון טכנולוגי שונה. בהרצאה נראה איך נושא המים משפיע ומושפע מן השלטון, הדת והמלחמות שבכל תקופה וכיצד ניתן לספר את סיפורה של ירושלים דרך סיפור המים. • Shavuot. Fifth annual תיקון יום שבועות learning program on Shavuot afternoon (Sunday June 5th) 17:30-19:30 at the shul. Children of all ages welcome. There will be facilitated learning for different age groups (4-6, 7-9, and 10+). Refreshments to include ice cream sundae bar. Join us for a festive parent/child learning experience! • בחג השבועות בצהריים (יום א' 05.06.2022) יערך לימוד תיקון יום שבועות בבית כנסת ברמן. הלימוד יחל בשעה 17:30 למשך כשעתיים. ילדים והורים בכל הגילאים מוזמנים. הלימוד יהיה מותאם לגילאים שונים (4-6, 7-9, ו10+). במהלך הלימוד יוגש כיבוד קל שיכלול גלידה. בואו בשמחה, ושנזכה לעסוק יחד בדברי תורה!
• Due to increasing temperatures and lower numbers of COVID cases, the Shabbat morning outdoor minyan will be paused after this shabbat, Parashat Bechukotai. We are all praying that cases do not spike again any time soon. Thanks to all those involved in organizing the Tefillah to meet the community's need during this unique time, including Omri Flicker, Stephen Simpson, David Drory, Ori Brill, Noam Teomim, Shmulie Pineles, Yair Schwarzbaum, and Henry Schwarzbaum.
• The Board is seeking 1-2 volunteers to serve on the Nominations Canvassing Committee to recruit candidates for the Board and Audit C ommittee in preparation for the upcoming AGM (date, reports, and additional information to follow). If you wish to volunteer, please contact Emanuel Weisgras at president@bermanshul.org.
• The next Board meeting will take place on May 30 at 20:30 at the Shul. The agenda will be posted on the Member Documents page.

• COVID policy. With the reduction in the number of COVID cases, the COVID Committee is neither receiving nor disseminating information about individuals who attended Shul events and subsequently tested positive for infection. Members are encouraged to perform their own risk assessment in consultation with their health professional, and to act accordingly.
• The Education Committee is looking for people to give Divrei Torah for Sefer Bamidbar. Please contact Mechael Kanovsky at kanovsky@gmail.com.
