Heritage Center. We invite the community to a special screening
of the compelling documentary "UPHEAVAL: the Story of Menaham
Begin". In English, with Hebrew Subtitles. The award-winning
writer/director is Jonathan Gruber. March 19, 2022 (This Motzei
Shabbat) at 20:00. Flier on the Noticeboard.
- Jointly
sponsored Yahrtzeit kiddush - Nissan. The Nissan JSK
will be held on April 2, Parashat Tazria. To participate in the

- Shiurim
by Rav Yehezkel Babkoff and by Nachum
Babkoff between Mincha and Maariv resumed starting
last Shabbat (Vayikra) afternoon. Reminder: The Parashat Shavua
shiur given by Menachem Malkosh, Nachum Babkoff, and
Omri Flicker in loose rotation continues
Shabbat morning after the kiddush.
- Crisis
in the Ukraine. Many of our shul members are
involved in projects to help displaced populations in the
Ukraine (some even on the front lines), and many others have
asked how they can help. The Tzeddaka committee has
compiled a partial list of organizations involved in the
relief effort, and which would welcome contributions.
The list may be seen here and on the Noticeboard
("Donations Ukraine"). Please check back for updates from time
to time. More ways to help Olim from the Ukraine.
An effort is underway in Rehovot to find resources for olim who
are coming to our city from the Ukraine. Use the form to

Purim:
- Purim
Halacha guidelines. Purim is a joyous holiday
associated with various communal and personal mitzvot and
rituals. The Omicron-Corona Pandemic continues to make large
gatherings challenging. The Purim Omicron Guidelines 5782/2022
By Rabbi Aryeh Frimer is meant to assist congregants and their
families in the fulfillment of the various customs and mitzvot
of this joyous day. We also hope to give guidance to those not
attending shul as how to best carry out the various rituals of

Israel-China Relations by China expert, Carice Witte,
Wednesday, March 23, at 19:30. China has been entrenching
itself in the Middle East in ways that promise to reshape the
region’s social, political and security architecture. Carice
Witte is an expert on China and China-Israel relations. She
founded SIGNAL (Sino-Israel Global Network & Academic
Leadership) and serves as its Executive Director. Ms. Witte
will share her thoughts on the increasingly multifaceted
nature of Israel-China relations. Cost: ESRA Members NIS 25,

burglaries apparently occurred on Pinsker, Alkalai, and
