Bereavement and Memorial זיכרון ושכול:
To report a bereavement, or to see arrangements to help
the bereaved (minyan/meals), and to see updates or corrections of

- We
regret to announce the passing of Miriam Drory z”l, the sister
of our member David Drory. The funeral took place on
Wednesday, January 19 in Petach Tikva. David will be sitting
shiva at his home (12 Alkalai) through Tuesday morning, January
25th. Because of health restrictions, there will be no davening
or condolence calls at his home. David will daven at Berman’s
for Shacharit and at the outdoor Yekev minyan for Mincha and
Ma’ariv. Weather permitting, he will sit outside the
Maariv venue (Yekev on weeknights, outside Bermans on Sat.
night) for a few minutes, each evening after Maariv.

Shiur cancellations. In light of the present Omicron
situation, the following Shabbat shiurim will not take place: Rabbi
Frimer's shiur on Tefilla, the rotating Parashat Hashavua
shiur after Shacharit, Rabbi Yehezkel Babkoff's shiur after
Mincha, and Nachum Babkoff's shiur after
Mincha. With hopes for a quick return to normal.
- Horim,
Yeladim, Pizza and Learning (HYPAL)-- Every Sat. night
from 18:30 to 19:30, weather permitting, in
the amphitheater outside the shul. Pizza this week is sponsored
by Leora and Yuri Lubomirski. For last-minute updates, please
join the HYPAL whatsapp group. All
ages are welcome. Please bring your own books or study
materials.
