regret to announce the passing of Jospa Chava Kaufman z”l, the
sister of our member Barbara Pfeffer. The funeral
took place on Friday January 15th, in Jerusalem. Barbara sat
shiva through this morning, Thursday, January 21. Barbara can be

regret to announce the passing of Sarah Levenstein z”l, the
sister of our member Martha Pomerantz. The funeral
took place in San Antonio, Texas. Martha will be sitting shiva
at her home, through Tuesday morning, January 26. Martha can be

- Berman's
kiddush substitute discussion group (moderated by
Stephen Simpson) invites you to its weekly meeting on Zoom every
Wednesday at 20:00. The topic will be announced in the calendar
and on Facebook a day or two before. The Zoom link and the topic
for discussion will regularly appear on the live calendar.

We are leaving Rehovot and the wonderful Berman community for

Memory, the initiative for Holocaust Remembrance
established by Marty Herskovitz is partnering with Nefesh
B'Nefesh to sponsor a webinar in commemoration of
International Holocaust Remembrance Day – a special online
gathering to explore how memory impacts our personal and

Last
week's Basement
- The
Rehovot Anglo Hebrew Readers Group meets every
second Monday morning via Zoom for one hour of reading and
discussion of Hebrew-language texts. On Monday, February 8,
the group will begin to read תקלה בקצה הגלקסיה, by Etgar
Keret, a collection of short stories that won the Sapir Prize
in 2018. To join the group and for more information, call

Knowledge of US taxation and 2-4 years of tax prep experience.
