Before the Chagim:

• The early Friday night minyan has gone into hibernation for the winter. "Early Shabbat" will resume next spring.

• Slichot. Schedule of daily Slichot is available on the September pdf calendar.

• Set up for Beit Midrash, Hashkama, and Library minyanim. Volunteers needed to help set up the rooms for the Beit Midrash, Hashkama, and Library minyanim this Saturday night Sept 28th at 21:00 (NOTE CHANGE IN TIME) and to dismantle the Mechitzot and reset the rooms, immediately after Maariv on Motzaei Rosh Hashana. Please remember that we are a single community and please come help (it will not take long) whichever minyan you plan to attend.
• ארגון חדרי התפילה עבור מניין בית המדרש, מניין ההשכמה ומנין הספריה. דרושים מתנדבים לעזור לארגן את החדרים במוצאי שבת 28/9 בשעה 21:00, וכן לפרק את המחיצות ולסדר מחדש את החדרים מיד אחרי ערבית במוצאי חג. אנא זכרו כי אנחנו קהילה אחת ובואו לעזור ללא תלות במניין שבו אתם מתכוונים להתפלל (זה לא יקח הרבה זמן).

• There will be an additional shofar blowing immediately after davening in the ('main') shul building on both days of Rosh Hashana for those who are unable to be inside during the davening. Please allow people to leave at the end of services before coming in, but please be on time, as those blowing shofar will not blow repeatedly for latecomers.
• תקיעת שופר נוספת תתקיים מיד אחרי התפילה בבנין בית הכנסת בשני ימי ראש השנה עבור אלו שאינם יכולים לשהות בבית כנסת בזמן התפילה. אנא אפשרו לאנשים לצאת מבית הכנסת בסוף התפילה לפני שנכנסים, אך אנא הגיעו בזמן מכיוון שהתוקעים לא יתקעו שוב עבור המאחרים.

• Strollers. As always, those attending the Shul building (main) and Hashkama minyanim are asked to leave strollers outside the building. Strollers may be brought into the Beit Midrash and Library minyanim, but must be kept in the back of the room. All the venues are wheelchair accessible with the exception of the Beit Midrash.
• עגלות. כמו תמיד, מתפללים שמגיעים למניין בבנין בית הכנסת ולהשכמה מתבקשים להשאיר את העגלות מחוץ למבנה. ניתן להכניס עגלות למניין בית המדרש ולספריה, אך יש להשאירן בחלקו האחורי של החדר. כל המתחמים נגישים לכיסאות גלגלים, למעט בית המדרש.
• Please bring your own machzorim, as the shul has only a very limited number available.
• אנא הביאו עמכם מחזורים לכל המניינים, שכן בבית הכנסת מלאי מוגבל בלבד.
• A joint Kiddush will be held under the pergola for the Shul building and Beit Midrash minyanim, and a joint qiddush will be held under the pergola for the Hashkama and Library minyanim upon their completion of tefillot. A representative from each minyan will recite kiddush.
• קידוש משותף יתקיים תחת הפרגולה למניין בבנין בית הכנסת ולמנין בית המדרש, וקידוש משותף יתקיים תחת הפרגולה לשני המניינים המוקדמים (השכמה וספריה), עם השלמת התפילות. נציג מכל מניין יקדש.
• Jointly Sponsored Yahrtzeit Kiddush. The Tishrei JSK will be held on October 5th, Parashat Vayeilech. To participate in the kiddush, please contact Judd Bogdansky (jbogdansky@gmail.com) no later than Wednesday, October 2nd. Participation: 150 NIS per person memorialized. Judd confirms all emails he receives; if you do not hear back, please follow up.
• קידוש משותף לימי זיכרון תשרי. הקידוש המשותף לציון ימי זיכרון (יארצייט) של חודש תשרי יתקיים בשבת פרשת וילך 5 באוקטובר. אם ברצונך להשתתף נא ליצור קשר עם ג'וד בוגדנסקי (jbogdansky@gmail.com) לא יאוחר מיום רביעי, 2 לאוקטובר. השתתפות: 150 ש'ח לכל שם. ג'וד מאשר קבלה לכל הודעת דוא"ל שהוא מקבל, אך היו מקרים שהודעות שנשלחו אליו לא התקבלו. אם לא קיבלתם מענה, אנא צרו עמו קשר שוב.
