• The memorial to commemorate the first "yahrtzeit" of our dear member Eddie Jacobson z"l (Isser Reuven ben Baruch Zeev) will take place the 23rd of Elul תשע'ט, the 23rd of September 2019 as follows: 17:15 Meeting at the Holon cemetery, at the side entrance near the military cemetery- Tehilim and tefilat Mincha. 19:20 Tefilat Aravit in Bet Knesset Mercaz Avraham (Prinz) Menucha VeNachala 64 Rehovot. 19:35 Memories, learning and stories in Eddie's memory (daughter- Yael; Rabbi Prinz; wife- Cecile; brother-in-law- Yakov Rabinowitz; granddaughter- Noam; friend- David Drory; and son-in-law Rabbi Micha Kletzhandler who will also do a siyum). 20:45 Short film. 21:00 Light refreshments.

SHUL ACTIVITIES, EVENTS AND REMINDERS תזכורות, אירועים ופעילויות של בית הכנסת

Chagim:

• Slichot begin this Saturday night at 22:30. Please bring Slichot books from home, if possible, as the shul has a limited supply. Maariv at 22:20 followed by Slichot each night from September 22nd to October 7th, erev YK. On motzei Tzom Gedaliah (2.10) and on Motzaei Shabbat Shuva (5.10) Slichot will start at 22:30 without Maariv. Additional Slichot option most mornings starting Sept 23rd. See calendar for times and details.
• סליחות: לוח זמנים לסליחות בלוח ה-PDF החודשי.
• Volunteers needed! to put together holiday food packages for the poor. Monday September 23rd from 16:00 in Oshiot (Requires lifting-- Not suitable for children! or people with back problems). For more information and to volunteer, please contact Ilana Friedlander 053-570-6592.

• Set up for Beit Midrash, Hashkama and Library minyanim. Volunteers needed to help set up the rooms for the Beit Midrash, Hashkama and Library minyanim next Saturday night Sept 28th at 20:00, and to dismantle the Mechitzot and reset the rooms, immediately after Maariv on Motzaei Rosh Hashana. Please remember that we are a single community and please come help (it will not take long) whichever minyan you plan to attend.
• ארגון חדרי התפילה עבור מניין בית המדרש, ספריה והשכמה. דרושים מתנדבים לעזור לארגן את החדרים עבור מניין בית המדרש, ספריה והשכמה, במוצאי שבת 28/9 בשעה 20:00, וכן לפרק את המחיצות ולסדר מחדש את החדרים מיד אחרי ערבית במוצאי חג. אנא זכרו כי אנחנו קהילה אחת ובואו לעזור ללא תלות במניין שבו אתם מתכוונים להתפלל (זה לא יקח הרבה זמן).
