• We regret to announce the passing of Lionel Levinson z"l, the father of our member Pinchas Levinson. The funeral took place on Wednesday Feb. 6 in Jerusalem. Pinchas will be sitting shiva with his brother in Haifa (Rechov Nachshon 11) through Friday morning. He will be sitting at his home (25 Sapir) from Saturday evening, Feb. 9 (Ma'ariv at 17:52) through Tuesday morning, Feb. 12. Pinchas can be reached at 052-880-1072. • The unveiling of the tombstone for Annice Grinberg ע"ה will take place אי"ה on Sunday, February 10, at the Rehovot Cemetery. • Join us for a lecture by Mark Lavie, who will present his new book, “Why Are We Still Afraid?” at Berman’s on Sunday, Feb. 10, at 8 pm. The book is a personal look at his 46 years as a reporter, editor, and broadcaster in Israel, and he comes to a surprising conclusion. He’ll be selling and signing paperback copies of his book.

• Returning soon by popular demand. Rabbi Dr. Yissachar Seussowitz will be giving another fascinating shiur on a Shabbat in the near future. His topic this year will be "Mitzvos associated with Adar Aleph".
• New initiative at Bermans. In feedback we received after the high holidays, many people stated that it is very inconvenient for them to sign up for Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur seats in August, when even contemplating the chagim ruins their summer vacation. Accordingly, we are opening a limited time early-bird reservation option for high holiday 5780 seats. This month, you may reserve your favorite seat, and are not limited to requesting a window or an aisle. Our supercomputers are programed to understand free language queries such as "Please seat me in the seat Mrs X used before she moved away". We will do our best to honor any reasonable request. Please also note our new pricing structure. Premium seats include extra legroom, cancellation insurance, and tables in the Hashkama minyan. Early access to the kiddush before Adon Olam / Yigdal requires an additional fee (No early access is available on Motza'ei Yom Kippur). Watch your in-boxes for an email with detailed ordering instructions.
• **CANCELLED** Rabbi Seussowitz just informed us that upon serious and extended reflection, he could not think of a single Mitzva specific for Adar I, and he is therefore compelled to cancel his shiur. He reminds everyone that extra attention to tzniyus is always appropriate, and would be happy to share his views on the spiritual benefits of gender-separated kiddushim. Details regarding this lecture will be coming soon. The Committee.
