We regret to announce the passing of Howard Okrent z”l, the father of our member Elana Bogdansky. The funeral took place on Monday, Nov. 12, in Rehovot. Elana and her family will be sitting shiva at her home, Prof. David Millstein 4, through Monday morning, Nov. 19. Elana’s number is 054-664-1339. The second Azkara for our dear Nechama Siegal ז"ל, mother of Molly Bodner, will take place Sunday, the 18th of November (10th of Kislav, 5779) at the Rehovot Cemetery. Family and friends will gather at 16:00 at the Rehovot cemetery entrance.
The first Azkara for our dear Yoseph Yeshia Bodner (Opi) z"l, father of our member Heshi Bodner, will take place Monday, the 19th of November (11th of Kislav, 5779) at the Rehovot Cemetery. Family and friends will gather at 15:30 at the Rehovot cemetery entrance.

ESRA lecture on Wednesday, November 21. ESRA Rehovot is presenting a talk on “The Men Who Almost Killed Hitler,” by the distinguished Weizmann Institute Baroness Thatcher Professor of Chemistry, Prof. Gershom Martin. Prof. Martin will give an overview of the main anti-Nazi resistance factions inside Germany, and describe the main challenges faced by these groups. He will indicate that there were 12 or 40 attempts (depending on how one counts) on Hitler's (y”sh) life, and then focus on the four attempts that came closest to succeeding. The lecture is scheduled for 8:00 pm at the Havayot Schweitz Community Center, Kronenberg 1, Rehovot Hahadasha. Cost: ESRA members NIS25; non-members NIS35. Light refreshments will be served.
