• We are grieved to announce the passing of our member Harold (Heshy) Basch, the husband of our member Julia Basch. The funeral is scheduled for today, Thursday, Nov. 8, at the Rehovot (Gorodesky) cemetery, at 14:00. The family will be sitting shiva at Julia’s home, 37/7 Chish, through Wednesday morning, Nov. 14. The number there is 08-949-2986. Davening times are Shacharit: 6:15, Mincha: 16:40, Ma’ariv: 17:10. • We regret to announce the passing of Jacklyn Mishael z”l, the mother of our member Mishael Mishael. The funeral was held on Sunday Nov. 4, in Jerusalem. Mishael will be sitting shiva with his siblings at Haim Pinto 1, Kiryat Malachi, until Friday, Nov. 9 .המקום ינחם אותו בתוך אבלי ציון וירושלים
• The second Azkara for our dear Nechama Siegal ז"ל, mother of our member Molly Bodner, will take place Sunday, the 18th of November (10th of Kislav, 5779) at the Rehovot Cemetery. Family and friends will gather at 16:00 at the Rehovot cemetery entrance.
• The first Azkara for our dear Yoseph Yeshia Bodner (Opi) z"l, father of our member Heshi Bodner, will take place Monday, the 19th of November (11th of Kislav, 5779) at the Rehovot Cemetery. Family and friends will gather at 15:30 at the Rehovot cemetery entrance.

SHUL ACTIVITIES, EVENTS AND REMINDERS תזכורות, אירועים ופעילויות של בית הכנסת

• Our annual "MIX IT UP!" Shabbatot- week II - After last week's name tag kiddush, this Shabbat, Toldot, we will be pairing veteran and new families for a Shabbat meal. Thank you to Sharyn Strauss and crew for all their hard work in organizing these events, [fun] fact finding, and for their work year round in welcoming all those who have joined (or considered joining) our community. Thank you as well to this week's hosts and guests, and special thank you to Pinchas Levinson for preparing and distributing the name tags last week. The Fun Facts (HERE) now have names added.
• השבת שבת תולדות היא השבת השנייה של "mix it up" השנתי. לאחר שבשבת האחרונה חולקו תגיות עם שמותיכם, השבת נחלק אתכם לארוחות אצל משפחות. תודה רבה לשרון שטראוס והצוות על הארגון, ובכללי על העבודה הקשה במהלך כל השנה בקבלת אותם משפחות הרוצות או שוקלות להצטרף לקהילה. בנוסף תודה לפנחס לוינסון על הארגון והחלוקה של התגיות עם שמותיכם, בשבת האחרונה.
• David Drory is starting a new study group (the 8th) to learn טעמי המקרא for Berman boys in grades 5 and 6. To participate, please register with David by email: dvd258@gmail.com or by phone/WhatsApp 054-490-3856. The course will take place at his home, most probably on Tuesdays at 4 PM.

• Kislev Jointly Sponsored Yahrtzeit Kiddush. The Kislev JSK will be held on November 17th Parashat Vayetzei. To participate in the kiddush, please contact Judd Bogdansky (jbogdansky@gmail.com) no later than this Sunday November 11th. Participation: 150 NIS per person memorialized. Judd confirms all emails he receives; if you do not hear back, please follow up.
