Thank you to the Berman Community for their help and support after the recent passing of our father, Jack Nasielski z'l. --Lillian Jacobi and Rochelle Zweihorn and families.
In my name and that of the family, we would like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation for everything that you did to make sitting shiva more bearable, from the comfortable chairs to the "aron kodesh" and siddurim that you supplied to the wonderful food that you prepared. Thanks to all who came to help make a minyan three times a day. Your visits really comforted us. In the future may we only have smachot to share. Cissie Green Jacobson
בשמי ובשם המשפחה אני רוצה להודות לקהילת ברמן על כל העזרה בשבוע קשה זה. לא רק הבאתם כסאות לאבלים, גם סיפקתם ארון קודש וסידורים. מספר החברים שבאו לנחם אותנו היה מרשים ביותר, וכמות האוכל הטעים שנתתם לנו היה מדהים. כל זה עזר לנחם אותנו. גם תודה רבה לכל המשתתפים במניינים. תודה ובשורות טובות,סיסי גרין יעקבסון, מיכל קאהן, תמר טאובר, יעל יבין.

Winter is coming. Starting with Maariv on Monday evening October 15th (7 Heshvan) please remember to say ותן טל ומטר לברכה in your Shemona Esre.
החורף מגיע: החל מתפילת ערבית ביום ב' ה-15 באוקטובר (ז' מר חשון), אנא זכרו לומר "ותן טל ומטר" בתפילת שמונה עשרה.
When reporting a bereavement (lo aleinu), please do not call specific shul members, but rather, use the number 08-374-0241. If there is no answer, please leave a short voice message. This number -and its voice mail- is always covered by shul volunteers, regardless of vacation schedules. You can also use the form here.

Lecture. Guarding the Temple— in the Days of the Beit Hamikdash and in our days. Lecture (in Hebrew) at Ohel Shai (Rehov Melzer 9), by Rabbi Hillel ben Shlomo, Chairman of the Dorshei Hamikdash program. The lecture will be accompanied by slides. Thursday, the eve of 3rd of Heshvan, 11.10.2018, at 20:15, immediately following Maariv at 20:00. The shiur is in memory of Yehuda (Jules) Miller, the father of Zipora Polachek.
