• Set-up for Beit Midrash and Hashkama minyanim. Volunteers needed to help set up the rooms for the Beit Midrash and Hashkama minyanim for Yom Kippur on Monday September 17 at 21:00 (BM) and 20:30 (Hashkama), and to reset the rooms immediately after Havdala and break-fast on Motzaei Yom Kippur. Please come help.
• ארגון חדרי התפילה עבור מניין בית המדרש, ומניין ההשכמה. ארגון החדרים ליום כיפור ב17/9 בשעה 21:00 (בית מדרש) ו20:30 (השכמה) ופירוק אחרי הבדלה וכוס מיץ במוצאי יום כיפור. אנא בואו לעזור.
• Everyone is asked to check the seating scheme when coming into shul on Yom Kippur, as seating assignments may be different from those on Rosh Hashana.
• הנכם מתבקשים לבדוק שוב את מקומות הישיבה שלכם ביום כיפור לפי המדריך בכניסה לכל מניין. ייתכנו שינויים במקומות הישיבה שלכם.
• If you ordered a seat for Yom Kippur at any of the minyanim, and you will not be using it, please write to bermanshul@gmail.com, so that the seat may be reassigned.
• Start times on Yom Kippur. Kol Nidrei at 18:35 on Tuesday evening for all minyanim. Yom Kippur morning:

• 25th annual YK break-fast. Please wait for Havdala, which will be recited after Maariv at each of the minyanim.
• שבירת הצום השנתית ה-25: נא להמתין עד לאחר הבדלה, שתתקיים לאחר תפילת ערבית בכל מניין.
• Strollers. As always, those attending the Main and Hashkama minyanim are asked to leave strollers outside the building. Strollers may be brought into the Beit Midrash minyan, but must be kept in the back of the room. All the venues are wheelchair accessible with the exception of the Beit Midrash.
• עגלות. כמו תמיד, מתפללים שמגיעים למניין המרכזי ולהשכמה מתבקשים להשאיר את העגלות מחוץ למבנה. ניתן להכניס עגלות למניין בית המדרש, אך יש להשאירן בחלקו האחורי של החדר. כל המתחמים נגישים לכיסאות גלגלים, למעט בית המדרש.
• Please bring your own machzorim to all the minyanim, as the shul has only a very limited number available.
• אנא הביאו עמכם מחזורים לכל המניינים, שכן בבית הכנסת מלאי מוגבל בלבד.
• Lecture in memory of Avi Kanon z'l. Rabbi Mois Navon will speak in English on “Ethical Dilemmas in Programming Autonomous Vehicles”, Sunday Sept 16 at 20:00. Details on the Noticeboard.
• "Parsha sheets". Before Rosh Hashanah, World Mizrahi published an edition devoted to "Hagei Tishrei". Soon after they were placed for distribution alongside other pamphlets in the lobby, about 50 copies were found in the garbage (not even in the shemot bin). The shul has a Board and gabbaim, and if anyone objects to any of the pamphlets distributed, the shul management is the address, and not the garbage can.
• Volunteers needed to give Divrei Torah for parshiot in Sefer Bereshit. Reserve now, while a wide choice of parshiot still remains. Please contact Mechael Kanovsky.
• מי שמעוניין לתת דבר תורה על פרשה בספר בראשית מתבקש לפנות למיכאל קנובסקי. שריינו מקומות כבר עכשיו, כל עוד נשאר מבחר רחב של פרשיות.
• Torah readers needed for most parshiot for 5779. To volunteer, please contact Rami Shanani for the main minyan, or Moshe Appel for the Hashkama minyan. Please see the list in Hebrew below of Parashiot in sefer Bereshit and Shmot still available at the main minyan.
