• ESRA Rehovot-area Chapter invites you to join us for a talk by​ Edmund Jonah​ about​ "The Genesis and Conception of​ ​"My Fair Lady", Wednesday, Sept. 6, 2017 at 8:00 p.m. At the home of Lucille and Benny Edelman, HaNasi HaRishon 52ג apt 37, 10th floor. “My Fair Lady” premiered on Broadway in 1956​, and was a notable critical and popular success. At the time, it set a record for the longest run of any show on Broadway. It was followed by a hit London production, a popular film version, and numerous revivals. “My Fair Lady” has frequently been called "the perfect musical." • Great English comedy. Standup maraton at 9:30 Wednesday September 6 at פקה פקה Paca Paca Herzl 207, Rehovot, with Hani Skutch and Benji Lovitt and other great comedians performing in English. This is Benji Lovitt's first time performing in Rehovot, so let's show him a good time. Tickets 30 NIS at the door. • The Rehovot Anglo-Hebrew Readers' Group begins a new book Monday, September 11. It's סוס אחד ניכנס לבר‎ (A Horse Walks into a Bar) by David Grossman.
