• **Free concert- this week** On Friday, May 26, at 11:00, the Hadarei Ron Choir of Rehovot will be performing as part of the series of (free) Friday morning concerts at Beit Ha’Am, sponsored by the Rehovot Municipality. • The Committee for Olim Children at Tachkemoni are proud to launch a new initiative offering FREE ulpan classes to children during the summer. We would like to gauge interest for those of you with children at Tachkemoni. If there were to be FREE ulpan classes available for your kids - from kita aleph to zayin - during the summer months, offering your children help they need at their level, would you be interested? The ulpan will take place at the Havayot Center. We don't have dates or hours at this point. We just want to make sure that we first have the numbers before we announce details. Please fill out this google document. If you are a parent/adult who wants ulpan classes for yourself, please indicate your hours of availability.
• If you would like to hear more about social/communal activities in Rehovot & take part in them, please save the date: On June 6th at 20:30 we will get together for the “Global Jewish Unity” day. The activities of various organizations and initiatives will be presented to catalyze formation of collaborations. More information will be posted soon. Last week's Basement:

• Tachkemoni- the local (and excellent) state religious elementary school is looking for a few more first grade students. Approximately 100 students are registered for the incoming first grade class. The additional registration of 2 more students will enable opening of a 4th class, resulting in significantly smaller class size for all. If you or someone you know is the parent of a child entering first grade who may be interested in Tachkemoni, feel free to contact Parents' Committee representative, Moshe Galili 054-925-6255.
