- Lost
and found. My son left a navy blue, zip up Fox
sweatshirt in Shul last week. It's a boy's size 8 or 10, with
Fox logo on the front. He also lost a Fox jacket- red/off
white, with snaps also size 8 or 10. Not sure where we lost
the jacket. If anyone finds either, please please email me desqtrn@optonline.net
(Tamara Schwartz) Thank You.

BASEMENT- A SPECIAL SUPPLEMENT FOR PURIM
Please note that we take no responsibility for the
Halachic propriety, kashrut or sanity of the items listed

- New
Community - presale of homes. Join Neve
Shushan, an expansive gated community, premises to be
surrounded by a high landscaped wall. But don't worry, the
shul president assures the residents that the Amalekites
will pay for all wall-construction costs! Homes built to
traditional royal standards, with plenty of room for
parties and large servant's quarters. Big lots with
covered two-horse garages. To avoid all future space
problems, the community’s NEW shul is already being built.
Due to requests by our community to make our shul
great again, several new minyanim are currently being
formed:
- Mixed
(breed) minyan. For those with a strong
commitment to and belief in dogs, a pet minyan will begin
in the summer. Members are requested to keep barking to a
minimum and all donations should be left outside in a
specially marked receptacle for that purpose. 1.
President: Duke N. 2. Social committee: Prince S., Frankie
Y., and Guinness B. 3. PR and internet: Kelly E. and Bagel
S. 4. Social action: Coco F. and Shlomi H. 5. Bone club:
Buffy Z. and Fermi H.
- Halachah
and Dibbur (walk and talk) minyan. Perfect for
those who find it difficult to keep quiet and still while
in shul. Meet at the yeshiva gates,
7:30am, Shabbat morning. Please wear comfortable walking
shoes and bring water, hat, and a siddur with big print.
- Early
Early Shabbat Minyan. Join the gang that can’t
get enough of a good thing. Kabbalat Shabbat 5:45pm Wednesdays.
- Egalitarian
minyan. Be part of an exclusive group!
Membership is open only to those with names Yigal, Gal,
Galit, Galia, Galbraith, or Galgalgalgalatz.
Other
shul events:
- New
classes for Anaiim Zemirot. Open to anyone
wishing to learn Anaiim Zemirot in American Sign Language.
Practice will take place in the back of the shul until the
shul membership has a chance to decide at next year’s AGM
whether a different Sign Language would be more inclusive.
All welcome to join.
- AGM
Concessions, tickets and media. In the spirit
of the occasion, popcorn, drinks, Raisnets, Malted
Milkballs, and CrackerJacks will be sold at the next AGM.
This will likely be a sellout event, so please get your
tickets in advance. They can be purchased, as can High
Holiday seats, at 1-800-shul-tix. To avoid issues
concerning ‘fake news’, all media will be banned from the
AGM except the vetted journalists of the famed (and
defunct) Rehovot Reporter.
- Spouse
dance club opening. Chez Vashti, is a private
couples dance club, in a Halachically-inspired atmosphere.
Classes in ‘it might lead to mixed dancing’ available. For
info, call 08-22tango.
