Bereavement and Memorial:
- We
regret to announce the passing of Iva Goldman z"l, the
brother of our member Hershell Goldman.The funeral
took place on Tuesday, February 14, in Arad. Hershell will be
sitting shiva at his home in Rehovot, through Monday morning,
February 20. The address is 29/2 Gorodesky, first floor (with
elevator), and the number is 08-945-6264. Davening times are
Shacharit: 6:15, Mincha: 17:20, Ma'ariv: 17:50. Mincha Friday,

- We
regret to announce the passing of Mrs. Molly Naider, z"l,
the mother of our member Dr. Fred Naider. The
funeral took place on Sunday, February 12th in Queens, NY.
Fred will be sitting shiva through Friday afternoon, 17.2, at
his home, 419 Buchanan Avenue, Staten Island. He can be

memorial evening for Mrs. Gloria Mound ז"ל will be
held March 2nd at The New Synagogue of Netanya, 7 Macdonald

David Mound.
SHUL ACTIVITIES, EVENTS AND REMINDERS
- Attention
Parents of First Graders: We are organizing a
kiddush on Shabbat Parashat Tetzaveh (March 11th) in honor of
our children receiving their first Siddur. The children will
also be invited to lead the shul in a rousing rendition of
Adon Olam. For more information and to participate, please

Readers wanted. Readers are still wanted for the
second reading of Megillat Esther on Purim night, as well as
for the reading at Havayyot. Young volunteers are especially

Rehovot are selling tickets for LOGON’s performance of
“Annie” at the Wix Theater on Sunday March 19th
at 18.30; suitable for ages 6 upwards. The musical will be
performed in English with overhead Hebrew translation.
Profits will go to help the Maonot in Rehovot, Gedera or Gan

- The
women's parshat hashavua shiur in Beit Chatam,
1A Skolnik on Shabbat afternoons will now take place at 3:45
pm. The shiur is held on the balcony (accessed from the
ezrat nashim). All women are welcome.
- The
Rehovot-area Hebrew Readers book club will begin
a new book, המרוקאי האחרון (The Last Moroccan) at its
February 27 meeting. If you enjoy reading Hebrew in the
original language and discussing literature, please join us.
We meet at readers' homes every second Monday morning.
