• Looking for families to host teenage youth, from English-speaking countries, for specific Shabbatot and holidays; the dates are determined in advance. These young people participate in an educational program, called Na'aleh, which combines high-school study with experiences geared to help them eventually integrate into Israeli society as olim. • El Halev is coming to Rehovot! Personal safety and self defense classes for children will be held during January-February (groups for ages 5-7, 8-10 and 11-13). For details about these important and empowering programs, please contact 02-6781764 or visit www.elhalev.org.
• WIT (Women in Theater) is staging the original Broadway hit "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat", starring Tamar Weiss (Rochel and Herb Krantman's daughter) and Avital Macales, with Rehovot resident, Julie Levi, also playing a role in the show, and with Sara Orenstein (also Rochel and Herb Krantman's daughter) as choreographer. Tickets are still available (for women only) for the Jerusalem and Ra'anana shows. The Jerusalem show is on Jan. 19th,and the Ra'anana show is on Jan. 22nd, both at 8:00 p.m. Further details can be found at www.womenintheater.com and tickets are selling quickly, so don't delay!
