SHUL ACTIVITIES, EVENTS AND REMINDERS​

• **This week** This Shabbat, Parshat Pekudei (March 11-12) we will be honored to have Rabbi Yitzchak Breitowitz as a scholar in residence. Rabbi Breitowitz received his BA degree from Johns Hopkins University and obtained semicha from Ner Israel Rabbinical College. He graduated magna cum laude from Harvard Law School, and shortly thereafter became the Rav of the Silver Spring Woodside Shul in Silver Spring Maryland, while maintaining status as a tenured professor at the University of Maryland School of Law.   Rabbi Breitowitz will give two lectures in English:

• Please join us for our Pre-Purim Chesed Event for parents and children (ages 2-12) at Matnas Havayyot, co-sponsored by Bermans, on March 14, 2016 from 17:00-19:00. Each child is asked to bring a gift, which the kids will wrap and decorate together. The wrapped presents will be distributed to poor children. There will also be Purim art activities, snacks and fun. We are looking for volunteers to help with set up and clean up, and other jobs. Any donations of gifts or funding are greatly appreciated.
