Kiddush on Shabbat is sponsored by the shul, to welcome the newest members of our community (details below).

Engagements and wedding:

• Mazal Tov to Audrey and Fred Samuels on the wedding of their son Yaakov to Lital Buzaglo daughter of Anat and David Buzaglo of Rehovot.

Refua Shleima:

• Refua Shleima to Shoshie Babkoff who is hospitalized at Kaplan. Due to the extended nature of her stay, the family would appreciate some help with meals. Anyone who can bring over some food, should please contact their daughter Shani Babkoff at 050-931-8038 or Nachum Babkoff at 050-506-9436.

SHUL ACTIVITIES, EVENTS AND REMINDERS​

• "MIX IT UP!" Part I was a resounding success with over 20 "vatikim" (some fairly new themselves) inviting some of the newer families for shabbat meals. Yasher Koach to all the organizers for their hard work. This week (Nov. 14), Shabbat Toldot, the Kiddush will be sponsored by the shul to welcome our new members. We will also have name tags prepared for all members, which you may optionally affix to your clothing upon exiting to the kiddush. Non-members of the shul are invited to receive a name tag by registering here.
  There will also be a "game" of fun facts played during Kiddush. The new members have sent in a fun fact about themselves, and the community is asked to use the Kiddush as an opportunity to talk to people they don't know, and to figure out which family is associated with which fact. • קהילתו התברכה בשנים האחרונות בהרבה משפחות חדשות. כדי לעזור לוותיקים וחדשים להכיר אחד את השני אנו קיימנו אירוח בשבת שעברה ונקיים אירוע בשבת הקרובה. השבת, שבת תולדות (14.11), הקידוש יהיה בחסות בית הכנסת כדי לקבל בברכה את החברים החדשים. באותה שבת, יחלקו תגיות עם שמות חברי בית הכנסת שניתן יהיה להדביק על הבגד. מי שאינו חבר בית הכנסת יכול לקבל תגית על ידי רישום פה.
  יהיה גם "משחק" של עובדות משעשעות בקידוש. החברים החדשים שלחו עובדות משעשעות על עצמם. אנשי הקהילה ינסו במהלך הקידוש להתאים בין העובדות השונות למשפחות הנכונות. על מנת לראות רשימה של חברינו החדשים ולקבל הצצה בעובדות לחצו כאן. (עברית מתחת לאנגלית)
  
  
• Miniminyan is back in a new format. Looking for 9th-11th graders to lead the program. Two interactive sessions on "Tips for counselors" will be held with Hila Galili. Please contact Yael Mishael (052-8355309) if you are interested in working as a counselor.

• The Kislev Yahrtzeit JSK will be held on Shabbat, Parshat Vayishlach (28.11.2015). To participate in the kiddush, please contact Rachel Schecter no later than Sunday, November 22nd. Participation: 150 NIS.

HOSPITALITY and CHESED

• Looking for families to host converts who live in Rehovot and do not need sleeping arrangements. Basically you need to help them during davening at shul and have them over for meals once in a while. We need 3 families to host: 1- A single mother + 2 girls (11,13); 2- a 22 year old girl; 3- a 21 year old girl.
