- The shul has received
an anonymous donation of 30 "baby-on-key" devices,
purchased for the shul membership (and the "next
generation"). Help yourself! (box in the foyer).
(The donors have no financial interest in the manufacturer).
15 deaths of infants or toddlers have occurred in the last
few years in Israel because parents inadvertently forgot a
child in the car. This can easily happen to any parent. A
new simple solution is now being manufactured. See: www.babyonkey.com.
To use: Keep the "baby-on-key" hooked onto the car seat;
move to your keychain when you put the baby into his seat;
since the plastic is large, you'll be unable to put your
keychain back into your pocket when you reach your
destination, until you unclip the baby-on-key device from
your key-ring and return it to the car-seat. And THAT
reminds you to take out the baby! ונשמרתם מאד לנפשותיכם
