for Parashat Bereshit. On Parashat Bereshit
(10/10/15) we will be hosting soldiers from the "Nativ"
pre-conversion course. We are looking for 10-15 families to
host them. Background: The Army together with the Jewish
Agency coordinates a special project called "Nativ". Nativ
is intended for all new Olim or for soldiers who are not
Jewish Halachikly. This part of the course deals with the
"Jewish experience". Following completion of this course,
all the soldiers who are not HalachiklyJewish are invited to enroll in the
conversion seminars. On Parashat Bereshit we will host
soldiers who are at the end of their Nativ course. This is
the peak of the course and what motivates most of them to
continue towards conversion. Most who are interested in
conversion are זרע ישראל & it is a big Mitzva to help
them. Please take part in this important task and host two
soldiers on Shabbat Bereishit. The soldiers will be happy
with all types of families, older or younger, with or
without children. If you can host, please contact Ilana
Friedlander ASAP at 053-5706592 or stevenf@netvision.net.il
