• The forms for 5776 membership renewal and high holiday seat reservations can be accessed in a computer-fillable version on the Noticeboard. Download the file, and then use the free Adobe Reader to complete and print. Please cooperate by returning the forms with your check as soon as possible. Deadline before the price increase is August 31st. We request that members do NOT use the Israeli postal service for their high holiday seat reservations, as it has become too slow to guarantee your forms reaching us in time. We realize it is an inconvenience, but please hand deliver your forms to any of the following addresses. Please do NOT ring their door bells, but simply put your form and check in the appropriate mailbox. Checks should be marked למוטב בלבד.

• And on the topic of High Holiday services...Choir looking for participants: For the past 18 years, the choir has accompanied the Parallel minyan (now known as the Beit HaMidrash minyan), with a few well-loved pieces one day during the Rosh HaShana and Yom Kippur tefillot. Owing to a confluence of circumstances, this year the team will be a bit thin for Rosh HaShana. If any of the gentlemen attending the parallel a.k.a. Beit HaMidrash Minyan this year would like to add another dimension to their davening through participation in the choir, please contact Stephen Simpson as soon as possible. No major musical knowledge required.
  
  
• From the Education Committee: We have begun to upload lectures given at Bermans to the shul's website. See the list at http://www.bermanshul.org/lectures. The first word in the title is the category, then the speaker, subject and then the language. If anyone has recordings that I can upload, please send them to Mechael Kanovsky. I am also planning to upload written versions of divrei torah given at Berman's. They will be available at http://www.bermanshul.org/divrei-torah. If anyone has divrei torah that they want put up on the web, please send them to Mechael Kanovsky after editing.
  
  
• There will be a blood drive at Berman's on Sept. 2nd. Details to follow.
  
• There will be a board meeting on Wednesday evening August 12th.

Jennifer was in pharmaceutical sales prior to Aliyah and hoping to teach English now.
