Kiddush this week is sponsored

Bat Mitzva, and by Pennina and Hershel Safer
in honor of their new grandchildren, Gili Rachel,
daughter to Aliza and Doron Karnei-R'em and sister to Adi,
and Sinai Yehuda, son to Malkie and Nogah
Safer, and by Gabriela and Sidney Cohen to
celebrate the brit of their new grandson, which will take
place immediately after services.

SHUL ACTIVITIES, EVENTS AND
REMINDERS
- Spring forward --
Please remember to move clocks 1 hour forward tonight
(Thursday March 26).
- Forms for selling
Hametz are available here. Completed forms can be brought
directly to the Rabbanut, or submitted to Jerry Kriger
daily after Shacharit through Wednesday April 1st. After
Wednesday morning, you must bring the forms yourself to
the Rabbanut.
- There will be a Siyyum
for Bechorim on erev chag, Friday April 3rd,
immediately after Shacharit given by Nachum Babkoff.
- The Zeddaka
Committee wishes to remind those who have not
yet sent their donations for Maot Hittim to do so as soon
as possible. Last year we were able to help more than 300
families. Please be generous and send your contributions
this week, so we can reach out to people before the chag,
Thanking you as always for your kindheartedness. We wish
all our members a chag kasher v¹sameach. Rivka Kronengold,
Frieda Sarfati-Ollech, Sandy Sampson, Jerry Kriger, and

Some of the highlights are as follows:
All pill medication (with or without chometz) that one
swallows is permitted without special hashgocha. Vitamins
and Food supplements do not necessarily fall under this
category.
All chewable pills that have kitniyos are permitted for
one who is ill.
Liquid medications that contain kitniyos are permissible
for one who is ill.
All varieties of body soaps, shampoos and stick deodorants
are permitted for use on Pesach regardless of their
ingredients.
All types of ointments, creams, nail polish, hand lotions,
eye shadow, eyeliner, mascara, blush, foot and face
powders, and ink and paint may be used regardless of their
ingredients.

"Berman Community Celebration" after T’filat
Maariv (Wednesday evening, April 22, 2015). The
celebration will include special programs for all ages.

- The Nissan
Yahrtzeit Jointly Sponsored Kiddush will be
held on Shabbat, Parshat Shmini (April 11, 2015) (still
kosher for Pesach). To participate, please contact Rachel
Schecter before Monday, March 30th. Participation:
150 NIS.
