• We deeply regret to announce the passing in New York of our former member, Bella Chasky z"l, the aunt of our member Leo Beer. The funeral took place on Thursday, Februay 6 in Brooklyn.

• Yeshivat Hadarom invites the Berman Community to participate in the opening ceremony of its new gym, dedicated to the memory of Avital Dym and her uncle Dr. Jonathan Dym .The ceremony will take place on Friday 21 February at 10:00 a.m. at the gym. 
   
• There is a Board meeting scheduled for Thursday 13th February at 19:00. Items for discussion may be rasied with any board members. Please check the the calendar on the day to confirm that the meeting is going ahead. Board and subcommittee minutes and other documents are posted on the website: http://bermanshul.org/content/category/9/15/58/; you have to use your personal username and password to gain access.
   
• As already announced, a Special General Meeting has been called to vote on the Board's proposal to replace the air-conditioning system. The meeting is called for Motzei Shabbat, P. Ki Tissa, 15th February 2014, ט"ז אדר א' at 20:00. Further details and links to the relevant documents are posted in the calendar. Please read the two  documents, and then come to the meeting!

HOSPITALITY, COMINGS & GOINGS - הכנסת אורחים The community wishes to know about new arrivals or people planning to come to Rehovot so that we can welcome them. You may send in their details for the weekly bulletin, to hospitality@bermanshul.org or to Chaya Tannor. As we learn from Avraham Avenu, please open your homes to our guests and newest arrivals. MISHEBEIRACH LECHOLIM + BIKKUR CHOLIM - מישברך לחולים וביקור חולים  

• Please send names  (3 maximum) to gabbai@bermanshul.org, (preferably by Thursday) or write them out and to give to the Gabbaim before kria. Names must be resubmitted anew every week and will be read on the following Shabbat morning. This is intended for people with a acute health issues; if you would like a misheberach for somebody with a chronic illness, please say the person's name to yourself during the prayer.
   
• If you are convalescing at home and would like visitors, please write in to bermanshul@gmail.com.
