The second printing of Shira Frimer's fantasy/adventure graphic novel NISTAR will be available this Chanukah (also the 14th Yahrzeit of Yaakov Frimer z"l). Stunning artwork by Josef Rubenstein of Marvel and DC Comics fame.

In its US launch this past September, several thousand free copies were given out to kids with cancer. NISTAR's superhero challenges demons and villians, putting brave kids battling cancer, their siblings, and families, in a front line action role confronting evil. Anyone coping with adversity can gain from its message: "In the face of despair, hope if you dare!"

There are 13,400 new cases of pediatric cancer a year in the US alone. Although upwards of 80% can recover, the journey to restored health is a hard one. The need for this wonderful book is growing. Shira Frimer is also eager to produce a Hebrew edition of NISTAR in the near future to give to kids and their families in Israel.
