- Mazal tov to Great Grandparents Naomi & Murray Borsekofsky,this time on the
birth of a great granddaughter.
[those of you who were in shul heard this announced a couple of weeks ago, but
we missed putting it in the bulletin]
- Mazal Tov to Caren & Zev Radinsky on becoming grandparents and to Sandra Lampach
on becoming a great-grandmother. Mazal tov to Yael & Ari Levine, proud parents of
their twin son and daughter, also to great-grandmother Myrna Radinsky.
As an aside, Sandy would like to thank everyone for their concern & good wishes
during her prolonged stay in hospital. She is now back in her new home at Bayit
Balev.
- Mazal tov to Reut & David Schwarzbaum on their new daughter, Yael, born last
Shabbat. Mazal tov to the grandparents, Shelley & Henry Schwarzbaum, to great-grandparents
Flo & Sylvain Sternberg, and to Reut's parents and grandparents, Michal
& Yossi Ferencz, and Trosh Ferencz.
- Mazal tov to David & Tovah Shacham on the birth of a grandson, born to their
daughter Dana and son in law Dani Rozner.

- Mini-Minyan continues this Shabbat
with a group for children ages 3-6, and a second group for children in Kita Aleph
through Gimmel. Meet in front of the shul when the sefer torah is taken out.

- Maot Hittim:
Dear Members,
Thank you to all members who have donated so generously to the Moat Hittim appeal.
More than 200 families have been helped already. Donations can still be made to
the zedaka committee. We will endeavor to distribute all donations before the hag,
however last minute donations may be given out after the hag.
Chag kasher v’sameach.

Checks should be made out to “Jacob Berman Community Center" with a notation that
the funds are for the shul “keren tzedaka pessach”. The checks should be delivered
to the Gabbaim or sent via mail to: Jacob Berman Community Center, P.O. Box 1146,
Rehovot 76111.

- The Rehovot Rabbanut is offering this service this year at No Charge Venue as usual
is the Central Mikveh, Rehov HaShoftim (opposite HaShuk HaIroni)

- Selling Chametz:
- Forms can be obtained from Jerry Kriger or downloaded from http://bermanshul.org/pesach/Hametz_Sale.pdf. Completed forms
may be returned to Jerry Kriger until Friday morning (Shacharit), 19th March 2013.
You may also drop off the form in Jerry's mailbox (please do not ring the bell).
- Alternatively, you can go to the local Rabanut yourself or sell your Chametz on-line
via
Tzohar ,
Rav Yeshayahu Rotter or Chabad.
- Please do not bring Chametz into shul this Shabbat, and check that your
children don't bring any. Don't forget to check your Talit bags!!!

- Leil Ha'atzmaut celebration: live
music with the Shovrei Hakossot band, pizza and felafel, cotton candy,
wine (for the adults, of course), and good times as a community!
- AGM - Sunday 5th May 2013
The Annual General Meeting of all the membership has been called for Sunday
5th May at 20:00, Please put the date in your diaries so that we get a good attendance.
We are particularly keen to see some new faces to participate in running the community.
Members willing to consider serving should approach any Board member or send e-mail
to president@bermanshul.org.
The same applies to members wishing to propose topics for the AGM agenda..
