• The Board that was to have taken place this week has been postponed till Wednesday 16th January 2013, 20:15. On the agenda will be the ratification of the minutes of the Special General Meeting that took place on Sunday 16th Dec 2012 and of the Board meeting that followed. Welcome to our guests, the soldiers from the Nativ programme. This Shabbat  is one of the highlights of their Jewish-Israeli learning experience. Some of the soldiers are non-Jewish, but may go on to a conversion programme. For the soldiers who are already Jewish, the Nativ programme enriches their Jewishness.

• Elaine Adler is 26, just finished her doctorate in Australia and will be working as a researcher in the department of neurobiology at the Weizmann institute.   A story of love and power, in English (for the first time in Israel) with Hebrew surtitles. The award winning musical opera telling the riveting story of Eva Peron, a simple actress who rose to the highest levels of power in 1940s Argentina. With the songs Don't Cry For Me Argentina, You Must Love Me and Buenos Aires.
  Starring Saphira Tessler-Greenberg as Eva, with tenor Kfir Levy and baritone Samuel deBeck Spitzer. There will be 12 performances in theaters around the country from January 17th until February 11th.
