  • Kiddush is in honour of the barmitzvah of Itai Feldman. Mazal tov to his parents, Baruch & Orit Feldman, and grandparents, Yoel & Ruth Feldman.

  • There will be an azkara for our former member Alfred (Avraham) Noodelman ז"ל on Thursday 6th Dec  (22nd of Kislev) at 2:15 p.m. at the Rehovot cemetery. All are invited. We will meet at the front gate.
     
  • A Special General Meeting for all Bermans members has been called for Sunday, 16th December 2012 at 20:00 in the shul. The only item on the agenda is the approval of the 2011 financial reports to the Rasham Amutot. Members may access the documents for this meeting from the "Members Only" section of the website (member login required) - the web page gives the access credentials. Those who remember the access credentials for the membership directory PDF file can use the same username and password to access the documents directly via the following links:

HOSPITALITY, COMINGS & GOINGS - הכנסת אורחים
The community wishes to know about new arrivals or people planning to come to Rehovot so that we can welcome them. You may send in their details for the weekly bulletin, to hospitality@bermanshul.org or to Chaya Tannor. As we learn from Avraham Avenu, please open your homes to our guests and newest arrivals.   • Please send in names (3 maximum) to gabbai@bermanshul.org, (preferably by Thursday) or write them out and to give to the Gabbaim before kria. Names must be resubmitted anew every week.

  • Chugim and activities for all ages at Havayot Schweitz: Including 50+ coffee evenings, מועדון חצ"ב, Bridge for beginners, Tiyulim, etc.. For details and schedules see the Havayot Website (http://havayot.org.il).
  • Members organizing private events (e.g. wedding, bar/bat mitzva celebrations etc.) are advised to use the shul calendar as follows:
    1. You can check for a date that does not clash with another event in the community.
    2. You may have your event listed as an anonymous "private event" so that others can avoid scheduling another event at the same time. Please let any board member know or send your request by e-mail to bermanshul@gmail.com.

  • Motz'ei Shabbat (10.12.2011) the Shalva family (formerly of Gush Katif and now temporarily residing in Ein Zurim Tel. 054-2045731) Judaica and Books Store will be in Rehovot for a pre-Chanukah sale of books, gifts, Chanukiot and other items at the home of Sara and Moshe Miller Rehov Shiver 16 in Kiryat  David. From 20:00 to 22:30 in the evening. 
  • Moving to smaller place in Jerusalem, must sell items. Household goods,costume jewellery,hats,clothing, tablecloths & household linens etc. 1st come, 1st served. All money raised will go to Emunah.
    When? 11th. December from 9:00 - 11:00. and 16:00 - 18:00.
    Where? 12/2, Rehov Hagra,Rehovot, !st floor, with elevator
