  • Kiddush this week is sponsored by Lynn & David Sidransky in celebration of Yair's bar mitzvah. Mazal tov to the family and their guests.
     
  • Mazal Tov to grandparents Shelley & Henry Schwarzbaum and great grandparents Florence & Sylvain Sternberg on the birth of a daughter to their (grand)children Yair & Rivki Schwarzbaum. Mazal Tov as well to grandparents Sara & Yaacov Meckler, and greatgrandmother Esther Sheinfeld.

  • Shabbat youth activitiess
    • Rav Aryeh Frimer gives a shiur on Tfila to Teens (grades 10 – 12), every Shabbat at 11 am in the library.
    • Yossi Oren is organizing the Chug Bereshit for smaller children – every Shabbat at 11 am, in the ezrat nashim.
LOST & FOUND
  • My sunglasses (with white flowers on the ear pieces) disappeared at Kiddush last Shabbat. If anyone found them or knows of their whereabouts please contact Lisa 054-2274193 or return them to shul.
HOSPITALITY, COMINGS & GOINGS - הכנסת אורחים
The community wishes to know about new arrivals or people planning to come to Rehovot so that we can welcome them. You may send in their details for the weekly bulletin, to hospitality@bermanshul.org or to Chaya Tannor.
As we learn from Avraham Avenu, please open your homes to our guests and newest arrivals. This link will take you to the current list of new families and their contact information.

  • Please send in names (3 maximum) to gabbai@bermanshul.org, (preferably by Thursday) or write them out and to give to the Gabbaim before kria. Names must be resubmitted anew every week.

  • Chugim and activities for all ages at Havayot Schweitz: Including 50+ coffee evenings, מועדון חצ"ב, Bridge for beginners, Tiyulim, etc.. For details and schedules see the Havayot Website (http://havayot.org.il).
  • Members organizing private events (e.g. wedding, bar/bat mitzva celebrations etc.) are advised to use the shul calendar as follows:
    1. You can check for a date that does not clash with another event in the community.
    2. You may have your event listed as an anonymous "private event" so that others can avoid scheduling another event at the same time. Please let any board member know or send your request by e-mail to bermanshul@gmail.com.

  • Have you ever thought that you wanted to make a difference? Needed - kidney donors of all blood groups for patients on dialysis . Any blood type welcome!!! If you have blood group A, B, AB or O please consider donating a kidney.
