HOSPITALITY, COMINGS & GOINGS - הכנסת אורחים
The community wishes to know about new arrivals or people planning to come to Rehovot so that we can welcome them. You may send in their details for the weekly bulletin, to hospitality@bermanshul.org or to Chaya Tannor.
As we learn from Avraham Avenu, please open your homes to our guests and newest arrivals. This link will take you to the current list of new families and their contact information.

  • Please send in names (3 maximum) to gabbai@bermanshul.org, (preferably by Thursday) or write them out and to give to the Gabbaim before kria. Names must be resubmitted anew every week.

  • Members organizing private events (e.g. wedding, bar/bat mitzva celebrations etc.) are advised to use the shul calendar as follows:
    1. You can check for a date that does not clash with another event in the community.
    2. You may have your event listed as an anonymous "private event" so that others can avoid scheduling another event at the same time. Please let any board member know or send your request by e-mail to bermanshul@gmail.com.

  • Life Changing Jewish Positive Thinking Workshop for women
    HaRabbanit Sarah Yosef, daughter-in-law of HaGaon HaRav Ovadiah Yosef, has developed an incredible workshop to assist women in improving their lives and those of their loved ones through Torah methods which provide concrete and practical steps towards enriching our outlook, and thereby producing positive outcomes to the nisayonot we all experience.
    The workshop (11 two-hour morning sessions, held weekly) will take place in Moshav Yad Binyamin, led in English by Chaya Hinda Allen. Cost is 700 shekels plus Chaya's travel to and from Beitar Ilit (split between the group). For a preview - please visit Chaya's website at www.jpthink.com.
