All volunteers are very welcome, wherever you daven – no prior experience needed,

your own selichot books as the shul dose not have enough to supply

- Please bring machzorim for yourself and your children

we would like to make them available to those who are in the process of giyur or

- Pre-Succot activity for children:
Sign up your children/grandchildren ages 4 thru 7 for a two hour activity making
succah decorations on Thursday morning, September 27th, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon.
The activity will be held under the Pergola outside of shul and we will serve
Tropiot and cookies. We will have some teenagers from Bermanoar helping the
young ones make Succah decorations (probably chains and lanterns etc). At least
one grown up will be present, and we would be happy if one or two other parents
could volunteer their time for these two hours. Please contact Rachel
Schecter (Rache50@gmail.com)

- The Rehovot chapter of the Israel Association of Baseball is
looking for motivated boys and girls for the 2012-13 season. Currently, we have
set up two teams. One team for ages 7-9, and a more advanced team for ages
12-14. We are hoping to set up a third "middle" team for the 10-11 age category.
The program, which runs from September to June, includes weekly Friday practices
and league games against teams from other cities such as Ra'anana, Modi'in and
Jerusalem.

- In case there are any other Berman parents who are not excited about the
Hayavot chugim in Tachkemoni, it's good to be aware of 2 alternative options:
Chaya Tannor's karate chug, which is great, and Gidi the sports teachers
net/volleyball chug -- ditto, see Hebrew.
Susie Dym (I have no personal interest in any of the chugim, just happy to share
info about these options which our kids found to be great - but getting less
publicity)
