• The Annual General Meeting of all the membership has been called for Sunday 6th May at 20:00, as mandated in the constitution (available on the website as official Hebrew version and unofficial English translation).
  • The agenda, reports and financial statements are being made available in the "Members Only" section of the website (member login required).
  • A new forum section has been opened at http://forum.bermanshul.org/f5-agm-2012 for discussion of AGM issues. Discussions on some proposals have already begun. Everyone is welcome to register in the forum and participate in the on-line debate.
  Please access the documents, read the forum and come prepared for the meeting. Your participation is important.

• Members organizing private events (e.g. wedding, bar/bat mitzva celebrations etc.) are advised to use the shul calendar as follows:
  1. You can check for a date that does not clash with another event in the community.
  2. You may have your event listed as an anonymous "private event" so that others can avoid scheduling another event at the same time. Please let any board member know or send your request by e-mail to bermanshul@gmail.com.

• Due to popular demand, Emunah is holding another Book Sale of second- hand English paperback books. Only paperbacks in good condition will be accepted. Each book is ONLY NIS 5. Also due to popular demand we will be holding an afternoon sale on the same day. Every shekel goes straight to Emunah's institutions. So bring those you have read, and buy more for your Summer reading The Book sale will be held on Tuesday 8th. May 10:00-1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.-7:00p.m. at the side of 8 David Shimoni.
   
• My family and I are moving into Rehovot this summer and are looking for a home to rent in the neighborhood around the Matnas Chavayot or near Tachkemoni starting in August 2012. We're looking for a 5 - 6 room home, may be an apartment or house, furnished or unfurnished, for at least a one-year rental term. Please contact me at omriflicker@gmail.com  with any leads.

• Looking for student to help professor of computer science organize his archives. Requires knowledge of Windows and TeX, as well as patience and organizational skills.
