  • Mazal tov to Rosalie & Coleman Brosilow on their 50th wedding anniversary. In celebration, the golden couple invite the congregation to kiddush after Shabbat morning davening.
     
  • Mazal tov to Risa & David Tzohar on the birth of their granddaughter Ye'ela, born to their children Yeshayahu & Chava-Leah Tzohar of Mitzpe Ramon, sister to Eytam and Gali Tzohar, granddaughter to Chana and Rav David Ben-Meir of Eli.
     
  • מזל טוב לחנה ויצחק יאיר על בר מצוה של נכדם, עתר מיכאל, בנם של רותי וגבריאל יאיר- נוסבאום
    Mazal tov to Chana & Isaac Yair on the Barmitzva of their grandson Atar Michael, son of Ruti & Gavriel Yair-Nussbaum.

  • Monday 28th February is the deadline for submission of editorial material to the next issue of THE REHOVOT REPORTER. The Reporter welcomes articles on humor, jokes, fiction and non-fiction, life experiences, people, opinion, politics, poetry, ...you name it. Send your articles to the editor, coleros@netvision.net.il.
LOST & FOUND
  • A blue glasses case with glasses and clip-on sunglasses went missing at Minha-Maariv last Shabbat.
     
  • A child’s size-12-month brown jacket, with name Yehoshua on the inside, was left in shul on Saturday. It is on the “lost & found” shelf.
HOSPITALITY, COMINGS & GOINGS - הכנסת אורחים
The community wishes to know about new arrivals or people planning to come to Rehovot so that we can welcome them. You may send in their details for the weekly bulletin, to hospitality@bermanshul.org or to Chaya Tannor.
  • This Shabbat we will be hosting a group of converts. This time, the group is composed of a mixture of recent & not-so-recent converts, singles & couples. We hope to show them a good example of a community-oriented Shabbat. Thank you to the Berman community for all the offers to host them for lunch & board. 
 
MISHEBEIRACH LECHOLIM + BIKKUR CHOLIM - מישברך לחולים וביקור חולים  
  • Please send in names (3 maximum) to gabbai@bermanshul.org, (preferably by Thursday) or write them out and to give to the Gabbaim before kria. Names must be resubmitted anew every week. 
     
  • If you are convalescing at home and would like visitors, please write in to bermanshul@gmail.com

  • Members organizing private events (e.g. wedding, bar/bat mitzva celebrations etc.) are advised to use the shul calendar as follows:
    1. You can check for a date that does not clash with another event in the community.
    2. You may have your event listed as an anonymous "private event" so that others can avoid scheduling another event at the same time. Please let any board member know or send your request by e-mail to bermanshul@gmail.com.
