  • Mazal tov to Yael Olami on the birth of grandson Amitai Ze'ev, and to the parents, Naama and Assaf Olami of Jerusalem.

  • The next Board meeting is in Tuesday 3rd January 2012 at 20:30. The provisional meeting agenda has been posted here. This will be the first regular Board meeting since the Special General Meeting and the Board will be discussing the meeting outcome, approving the minutes (available here) and issuing a statement.
     
  • BermaNoar:
    1. Shabbaton on Parshat Vayechi (January 7th). All those interested from 7th grade and up, please send an email ASAP to Ilana Friedlander at: stevenf@netvision.net.il  or call: 057-5706592. More details will follow.
    2. We are planning on having activities for Bermanoar throughout the year and for years to come. In order to assess how many children are in the different age groups, we ask parents to supply us with the following information about your school age children: names, gender, age, email and/or Facebook and cell phone numbers (if they have them).   • Membership Directory: In the very near future we plan to print and distribute a new version. The latest electronic (.pdf) version of the directory is available at http://bermanshul.org/restricted/membership.pdf. File access requires a username and password. Members are requested to review their listing in the current version (not the version printed over 2 years ago). Details may be updated online (preferred) or by sending e-mail to directory@bermanshul.org.
     
  • The Rehovot Reporter welcomes your articles--fiction, life experience, opinion, jokes and humor, you name it--for publication in the next issue, due out before Passover. For more information or to submit an article, send to coleros@netvision.net.il or call the editor at 08 949 4851. HOSPITALITY, COMINGS & GOINGS - הכנסת אורחים
The community wishes to know about new arrivals or people planning to come to Rehovot so that we can welcome them. You may send in their details for the weekly bulletin, to hospitality@bermanshul.org or to Chaya Tannor.
 
MISHEBEIRACH LECHOLIM + BIKKUR CHOLIM - מישברך לחולים וביקור חולים  
  • Please send in names (3 maximum) to gabbai@bermanshul.org, (preferably by Thursday) or write them out and to give to the Gabbaim before kria. Names must be resubmitted anew every week. 
     
  • If you are convalescing at home and would like visitors, please write in to bermanshul@gmail.com
     
  • Please pray for a Rafuah Shlema for Gefen Liav bat Ronit Miriam (2 year-old daughter of Ronit & Adam Feiler), who is undergoing major surgery.

  • Members organizing private events (e.g. wedding, bar/bat mitzva celebrations etc.) are advised to use the shul calendar as follows:
    1. You can check for a date that does not clash with another event in the community.
    2. You may have your event listed as an anonymous "private event" so that others can avoid scheduling another event at the same time. Please let any board member know or send your request by e-mail to bermanshul@gmail.com.
