ANNOUNCEMENTS
  • Mazal Tov to Ruth and David Drory on the occasion of the batmitzva of their granddaughter Naama, daughter of Edna and Uri Drory of Elkana

  • The Hashkama minyan this coming Shabbat Hanukah will start at 6:20 (10 minutes earlier than usual).

  • Eli Seeman has started a chug for boys interested in learning to read Megillat Esther. The chug meets weekly on Shabbat from 11-11:30am on the grounds of Yeshivat Hadarom

  • The draft minutes from the Special General Meeting held on 17th December 2011 have been  posted to replace the meeting agenda. The document is available here (available only to shul members, who must first log into the shul website). The minutes will be ratified only after members have had ample opportunity to review them. It is clear that tempers at the SGM ran high. We hope that the Board and the entire membership will restore the cordiality and derech eretz that so much characterizes our community.

Please click here to access the registration form.

  • Membership Directory: In the very near future we plan to print and distribute a new version. The latest electronic (.pdf) version of the directory is available at http://bermanshul.org/restricted/membership.pdf. File access requires a username and password. Details may be updated online (preferred) or by sending e-mail to directory@bermanshul.org.

  • Hanukah is here, together with sufganiyot and latkes, and now is the perfect time to take off those unwanted kilograms. The Weight Watchers group in Givat Brenner is a "closed group" which means that those who join meet weekly for a nine week "semester", and new people do not join during these nine weeks. Since you really get to know the people in the group, the support and encouragement you get (and give to others) is very special! You usually don't get that kind of group support in an open group in the city.
The new nine week "semester" will begin on Monday, January 2, 2012 at 18:30 (six thirty p.m.)! The group will only start if we have 15 people signed up. If you're interested, please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have.
