• Mazal tov to Rachel Schecter and William Levy, and Yigal Perlman on the birth of a grandson, born to Maoz and Marina Perlman.
   
• Davening times for all minyanim are on the PDF calendar. The Thursday evening setting up (of the Beit Midrash) is cancelled, but we will welcome help taking things down at the end of Yom Kippur.
  Bet Midrash (Parallel) Minyan please note:
  Mincha on Yom Kippur will start at 15:15, five minutes earlier than in the Main Minyan.
   
• Succot at Havayot: On Sunday, Monday and Tuesday of Hol Hamoed, there will be activities for all ages in the Matnas and the Succa Kehilati. Details are on the calendar.

• We have a number of new members who have joined the community over the last year. They include:

• Please send in names (3 maximum) to gabbai@bermanshul.org, (preferably by Thursday) or write them out and to give to the Gabbaim before kria. Names must be resubmitted anew every week.

• Members organizing private events (e.g. wedding, bar/bat mitzva celebrations etc.) are advised to use the shul calendar as follows:
  1. You can check for a date that does not clash with another event in the community.
  2. You may have your event listed as an anonymous "private event" so that others can avoid scheduling another event at the same time. Please let any board member know or send your request by e-mail to bermanshul@gmail.com.
