The community wishes to know about new arrivals or people planning to come to Rehovot
so that we can welcome them. You may send in their details for the weekly bulletin,
to hospitality@bermanshul.org or
to Chaya Tannor.
- It seems that several Bermans members responded (with information regarding
accomodation etc.) to the e-mail circulated last week from potential olim, Evy
and Mel Getz, to which they now reply:
"This is such good news. As soon as we know our Aliyah date, after Pesach, we can make
arrangements [snip]. Mel and I are so overwhelmed by the great hesed
and help this community extends to olim chadishim. We are very grateful. Thank
you very much. We look forward to meeting you and and your famil[ies].
Evy and Mel Getz"
- Sarah Nehrer and husband Jonathan are planning aliyah this summer (perhaps
to Rehovot) and will be in Israel on a pilot trip for a week in March and would
like to stay in Rehovot for Shabbat and Motzei Shabbat, March 25 and 26. They
have two daughters, 18 and 14, and a 19 year old son who is currently at university
States. Can anyone host for meals? The Tannors can provide accommodation - please

- BOOKS, BOOKS. Attention all readers
In the process of moving and downsizing, I have to find new, warm homes for my
books. Most of them deal with history and/or contemporary issues, especially
anything connected with Israel, including Jewish and Israeli writers. There are
also a number of English (english- english) classics. Nearly all books are in
English. So if you are able to provide a warm and loving home for any of
them, please come and meet them at my home, 7 Rehov Melzer, Apartment 7,
4th.floor ( there is a lift) on the Ides of March (March 15th.) between 5 and 8
p.m. As they are priceless, they are obviously free. Adeerah Meyers.
