  • Members are requested to support the special "Shabbat Chaverim" (for handicapped youth) that is being organised by our member Keren Gelbert, as detailed in Keren's letter inserted below:

    Dear Berman Family,

You may recall that last year I helped organize a Shabbat for the "Friends for Health" organization that helps children with muscular dystrophy and cerebral palsy. You were all very supportive and took us under your wings, making it a very special Shabbat for the kids. When the children go away for Shabbat, it gives their parents an opportunity to spend time with their other children. It is a win-win shabbat. The parents get a chance to recharge and spend more time with their other kids and the special needs kids have a wonderful shabbat with a group of warm dedicated volunteers.

This year the Shabbat will be shabbat vayikra, on March 11-12 at Yeshivat Amichai. We are currently looking for support to make the Shabbat happen. Any and all donations will be greatly appreciated!

For more information, please contact me at 052-561-9762 or at keren.gelbart@gmail.com.
    Thanking you in advance,
    Keren Gelbart

  • There will be a board meeting this coming Tuesday and if there is anyone who would like to raise an issue, please send an email to president@bermanshul.org
