  Mazal tov to Sarah & Israel Azrieli on the Bar Mitzva of their grandson Shaked, son of Naama & Shai Arzee, on Shabbat Mishpatim in Jerusalem.
   
• The azkarah marking the 14th yahrzeit of Rachel Garfinkel ז"ל and the 6th yahrzeit of Lenny Garfinkel ז"ל will take place at the Rehovot cemetery, IY"H, on Friday, 28 January 2011 (23 Shevat 5771) at 10 a.m.
  The family - both here and abroad - very much appreciates the continued loyalty to Rachel's and Lenny's memories over all the years.
   
• The unveiling for Leslie Mound ז"ל, father of our member Ruth Rechtschaffen will be held on Friday 28th January 2011 at 11 a.m. at the Gan Yavneh cemetery, at Kibbutz Hatzor. Follow signs to Gan Yavneh, pass the Ditzoron cemetery. Turn right at the corner and continue for about 1/2 km. until Kibbutz Hatzor (there are horses on the right). Enter the kibbutz and continue to the cemetery.
   
• Yeshiva campus cleaning - part VI
  This Friday will be another cleanup of the Yeshiva campus. Same time, same place (different garbage).
   
• The comedy and music evening last motsash was a big success.
  • Yeshar koach to the performers: Tzvi Sternlicht, Ellen Macales, Pinchas Levinson, Dan Feigleson and Hani Skutch.
  • Yeshar koach to organiser in chief Judy Weiss and her team of helpers.
     
• BermaNoar - ברמנוער
  There will be a shabbaton for Bermanoar kids, 8th grade and up, on the 11-12th of February in Achziv.
  The number of places is limited so please register your kids ASAP with Ilana Friedlander at stevenf@netvision.net.il.

• Harris Perlman writes:
  I was awarded a visiting Feinberg Professorship for this summer (June 15th to August 15th) to work in Stephan Jung/ David Wallach's laboratories. Currently, the Weizmann has a reserved us a two bedroom apartment since the three bedrooms have already been assigned. However, we are a family of six (4 kids), and need a three bedroom apartment.

• Members organizing private events (e.g. wedding, bar/bat mitzva celebrations etc.) are advised to use the shul calendar as follows:
  1. You can check for a date that does not clash with another event in the community.
  2. You may have your event listed as an anonymous "private event" so that others can avoid scheduling another event at the same time. Please let any board member know or send your request by e-mail to bermanshul@gmail.com.
