  • We are trying to find a play which could be prepared for a Bermans Purim play this year (!)  Since 100 heads are better than one, we were wondering if any of you have such a play (in English) or have a friend who might have been in one or seen one at another schule. Please put out your feelers and get back with it  to Yisrael Levitt and Stephen Simpson (who will figure out if it is doable) or to Judy Weiss. Thank you, Chaya (Also those of you with acting ability, start thinking about putting those talents to good use!)

HOSPITALITY, COMINGS & GOINGS
The community wishes to know about new arrivals or people planning to come to Rehovot so that we can welcome them. You may send in their details for the weekly bulletin, to hospitality@bermanshul.org or to Chaya Tannor.
  • On Shabbat Parshat Yitro, the Berman community will be hosting a group of converts, most of whom just recently completed their conversion. For some, this will be their first Shabbat following the conversion. During this Shabbat we hope to show them Berman's famous hospitality. We are looking for families to invite them for Shabbat lunch, and we would also appreciate if members of the community would assist them as needed during the davening & talk to them at the kiddush. Please contact Ilana Friedlander ASAP (email: stevenf@netvision.net.il, cell: 057-570-6592) if you can host 1-2 of them for lunch.
