  • Mazal Tov to grandparents Molly & Heshi Bodner, and Rachel & Herb Krantman, and the extended families on a new addition to the gang, a baby girl born to Talya & Eli Krantman.
     
  • The Neiman, Frimer and Dear Families will be holding a Hakamat Matseiva (Unveiling) for beloved husband, father, father-in-law and grandfather Yonatan (Jonas) Neiman Z”l, next Friday November 26th (19 Kislev 5771) at 9:30 AM at Eretz haHayyim Cemetery, Tzomet Shimshon [near Bet Shemesh]. At the same time the extended Frimer Family will hold an Azkara in memory of our beloved husband, father, son and grandson Yaakov Yehudah Frimer z"l.
     
  • Rav Prof Aryeh Frimer was recently on a panel with Rav Prof. Daniel Sperber, Rabbanit Channa Henkin and Rabba Sara Hurwitz on "Women and The Future of Judaism", which took place at Congregation Kesher Israel in Washington DC.   • The leadership and volunteers who organized the High Holidays "Parallel Minyan" recently met for a review and advance-planning session for next year.   • Shabbat Parashat Bo in Akko שבת פרשת בא בעכו
    The information posted in last week's bulletin is now listed in the calendar below (scroll down to 7th-8th January 2011). For more details about the Shabbaton, please contact David Drory, 08-9315847 or 054-4903856, e mail: dvd258@gmail.com. The final date for registration is 30th November, so that we will not have to pay any cancellation fees. We need to book a minimum of 25 rooms.

  • Members organizing private events (e.g. wedding, bar/bat mitzva celebrations etc.) are advised to use the shul calendar as follows:
    1. You can check for a date that does not clash with another event in the community.
    2. You may have your event listed as an anonymous "private event" so that others can avoid scheduling another event at the same time. Please let any board member know or send your request by e-mail to bermanshul@gmail.com.

  • Shabbaton at Midreshet Hevron in Kiryat Arba - Shabbat Parshat Ki Tisa -Feb. 18-19,2011.
    Cost: 270/ adult, 220/child includes all meals, Friday afternoon tiyul and guided walking tour of Hevron on Shabbat. Bus transportation is available at 100 NIS/person.
