  • We regret to announce the passing of Jakob Langbeheim z"l, the father of our member Harry Langbeheim, who died on 13 Elul, 22.8.10, in Zuerich Switzerland. The funeral was Monday evening (23.8.10) in Zuerich. Harry is sitting Shiva in Zuerich until Sunday morning. He can be reached at: 0041442662656 between 17.00-20.00 Tuesday-Thursday and on Friday morning between 11.00-13.00.

  • The azkara for R' Shmuel Baruch Taube will take place on Sunday the 19th of Elul 29.8.10, 5:30 P.M. at the Rehovot cemetery.
     
  • High Holidays 5771 and Membership Renewal  ימים נוראים תשע"א וחידוש חברות 
    The Rosh-Hashana Letter and the (revised) Seating/Membership Form (.pdf or .xls) have been placed at the top of the Bermanshul homepage. Please order your seats ASAP so as to minimize the last-minute stress on our volunteer gabbaim and to avoid your own disappointment. Also, please let the gabaim know if seats that you have booked will not be needed for some Rosh Hashana or Yom Kippur services.

  • Some weeks ago, someone accidentally switched talitot with Israel Azrieli (apparently while it was placed on the bench next to the gents). Please contact Israel Azrieli to exchange them back.

During this time I have been teaching English to both adults and children and am now looking to widen my horizons and change my direction work - wise.     • We are asking you to help a very fine Rehovot family who lives here in Rehovot. The father is institutionalized and totally incapacitated following a serious work accident about six years ago. The mother is raising her large family alone. Some of the children have special needs which give rise to additional financial hardships. Please give generously now so that this family can celebrate the  upcoming chagim in a fitting manner.
