ANNOUNCEMENTS
  • Mazal Tov to Ziva & Yaakov Amitai on the Bar Mitzvah of their son Menachem.
     
  • Mazal Tov to Rhea & Joe Applbaum upon the Bat Mitzvah of their granddaughter Yael, daughter of Leat & Marc Applbaum.
     
  • Yishar koach to Adam Strauss and to Mechael Kanovsky for organizing this year's very successful BermaNoar camp. Also, a big Yishar koach to Rav Uzi Amar for making the camp the fun-educational experience that it is. We encourage parents to be in touch with Adam to help him plan and execute other successful BermaNoar events throughout the year.

    Rav Motti Goldreich is compiling the dvar torah list for the coming year (Bereishit 5771 to Bereishit 5772). All those who are interested in giving a dvar torah, please send Rav Motti an email at motigold@neto.net.il. If you have a preference for a certain week, please tell him that as well. As now, we will continue to publish the speakers on the "live" Google calendar that appears in this and all weekly bulletins and on the community homepage.
     
  • High Holidays 5771 and Membership Renewal  ימים נוראים תשע"א וחידוש חברות 
    • Links to the Rosh-Hashana Letter and the (revised) Seating/Membership Form (.pdf or .xls) have been placed at the top of the Bermanshul homepage. Please download and print the forms, and order your seats ASAP. The letter and forms documents will not be mailed out separately.

    • As mentioneded in the Matot-Masei bulletin, the Parallel Minyan is moving to the Yeshiva's refurbished Beit Midrash. The new venue is still a work in progress but it is coming along nicely. Here is a link to a few pictures.-- it's still a construction zone but the pictures give an idea of what the room will look like.

  • Members organizing private events (e.g. wedding, bar/bat mitzva celebrations etc.) are advised to use the shul calendar as follows:
    1. You can check for a date that does not clash with another event in the community.
    2. You may have your event listed as an anonymous "private event" so that others can avoid scheduling another event at the same time. Please let any board member know or send your request by e-mail to bermanshul@gmail.com.
