ANNOUNCEMENTS
- Mazal Tov to Linda & Gerry Tanny on the birth of a grandson,
born in Jerusalem to Ahuva & Eitan Tanny.

Shelley & Henry Schwarzbaum invite the
community to the Pidyon Haben and Seudat Mitzvah (light dairy meal under the
pergola) for their grandson Yehonatan, which will take place on Monday, May 3rd immediately following Ma'ariv
at 8:00 PM. The gate from Sireni will be open.

- BermaNoar who missed the first comedy workshop, here is another
opportunity to look at the fundamentals of standup, Wednesday May 5th, 5-9pm, at
shul. We will learn how to create and perform jokes, plus we will discuss well
known comedians and their styles to help us develop our own personal approaches
to comedy.
- The workshop will be conducted in English and is free of charge, grades 8
and up.

- Annual General Meeting
The 2010 Shul AGM has been called for 9 May at 8 PM. Agenda items should be sent

president@bermanshul.org. In
preparation for the meeting, you are invited to read the following online

I would like to thank you all for your wonderful support before, during and
after the shiva for my father. I am always amazed by the Bermans community's
ability to be "family" ...this is just one more example of why I am thrilled to
be part of the Kehillat Berman!
