• This year's Kahn Bellows lecture series will consist of three lectures on Jewish Art. The first of these will be tonight Thursday 18th March, given by Prof. Mel Alexenberg based on the article "On Being a Zionist Artist in a Networked Age" (follow the link to view)". The second and third lectures will be after Pesach.

  • As every year, Berman members are entreated to share with the less fortunate in the Rehovot community through maot chitim charitable donations. Checks should be made out to “ Jacob Berman Community Center" with a notation that the funds are for the shul “keren tzedaka pessach”. The checks should be delivered to the Gabbaim or sent via mail to: Jacob Berman Community Center, P.O. Box 1146, Rehovot 76111.
    With the present economic malaise wrecking havoc on social welfare budgets at all levels, members are encouraged to both be generous and to make their donations as soon as possible.

  There will be a LeMehadrin matza baking in the grounds of Yeshivat Amichai on Monday, the 22nd of March. The baking is accompanied by mashgichim from Yeshivat Bet-El and is under the supervision of Rav Zalman Melamed. The baking will take place all day and is divided into groups of 2.5 hours each.
